"I have been using the Concealed Carry tropical vest for IDPA and it has met my expectations for the sport. The Tropical vest doesn’t immediately scream, “Shooting vest” and the construction is holding up nicely. It is lightweight and not a burden to wear in the summer months. The pockets are large and easy to get into for mag changes or to stow a magazine when needed. The hook and loop inside the pockets allows one to attach any number of mag pouches or other pocket organizers. There is enough weight in the construction of the pockets that they will flip out of your way for the draw, and not be moving around while you are trying to get your hand inside for that last magazine you didn’t think you needed, but are glad you can get to. For IDPA, I use an FNH-USA FNS-9 longslide, carried in an OWB Safariland GLS holster, which is not an easy combination to hide, but the tropical vest is long enough to cover the muzzle and has the proper drape, not to make it disappear, but to hide it well. Using my carry gun in an IWB holster, my gun disappears."
